CH Clean-Up Day
On Saturday, April 5 from 9 am to noon, community members will be gathering at Buckley Park (NE corner of Hartwell and Germantown Avenue) for the first annual Chestnut Hill Litter Clean Up Day.
Volunteers are needed to help remove the "winter tarnish” of wind-blown litter from the residential streets and Germantown Avenue across Chestnut Hill. Come out and meet your neighbors, and help make our community even MORE beautiful.
This event coincides with Philly Spring Cleanup and is being organized by Beth Wright, CHCA Board Member & coordinator of the CH Train Station Native Gardens, and sponsored by the Chestnut Hill Community Association, Chestnut Hill Business District, and Chestnut Hill Conservancy.
Plan to bring gloves if you can. Trash bags, rakes, and brooms will be provided by the City.
