Established in 1958, the Local serves Chestnut Hill, Mt Airy, Wyndmoor, Flourtown, Erdenheim, and the surrounding communities in Northwest Philadelphia and Eastern Montgomery County. The Local is an essential aspect of the Chestnut Hill community. In its pages you will find in-depth coverage of happenings in our region and a forum for community discourse.
