Annual Elections

Elections for Chestnut Hill Board of Directors are held annually. Board meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month (December excluded).

There are 26 Board Members, 5 of which are appointed positions. There is a staggered election process, we have 7 board positions up for election each year. Each At-Large (Elected) Board member serves a 3-year term.

Here is how to run for the board:
A. At least one month prior to an election, information on how to run is printed in the Chestnut Hill Local newspaper and on our website. 
B. All Board members must be CHCA members of good standing.
C. You DO NOT have to be a resident of Chestnut Hill
D. You will be required to attend monthly board meetings

Nomination forms are due to the CHCA offices no later than Friday, May 20th at 5:00pm. The form can be emailed to info@chestnuthill.org, mailed or dropped off in person to the  CHCA office at 8434 Germantown Ave. Phila PA 19118

IMPORTANT DATES:
Voting procedure and nominating form posted in the Local and on the CHCA website on April 20th.
Nominating form available in the Local and on the CHCA website from April 20th – May 18th.
Last day to submit nomination form (with photo and bio) is Friday, May 20th at 10:00am.
CHCA membership must be current by May 31st, 5:00pm in order to be eligible to vote in election.
Voting takes place June 1st – June 23rd (3 weeks)
Votes must be received via email or hard copy by the end of the Annual Membership Meeting on June 23rd, 6:30pm - 8:30pm. 
Notice of election results posted on the front door of Town Hall and emailed to nominating committee on June 24th.
Notice of election results will be published in the CH Local on June 29th
