25th Annual Chestnut Hill Holiday House Tour, Dec. 8, 2018
We sincerely thank all of our Christmas Holiday House Tour homeowners who graciously opened their homes to our community; Tia Burke and Jeremy Heep, Leslie and Barry Cerf, Richard Bartholomew and Julia Moore Converse, Sarah Macdonald and Michael Butler, and Julie and John O’Connell. We also want to thank the many volunteers who staffed the houses, registration locations and trolleys – including our Trolley “Czars” Karl Martin and Andy Kite who kept everyone moving throughout the day; the musicians and singers who performed at each of the houses, and the Designers, Florists and local Shops who made the tour a delight: The Bone Appetite, Brambles Florist, Bali to Bala, Bredenbeck’s Bakery, The Chestnut Hill Cheese Company, El Quetzal, Evergreen Cheese Shop, Fresh Market, Hillary O’Carroll of Isabella Sparrow, Bruce Levin of The Perfect Stitch, Laurel Hill Gardens, Rothe Florists, Sweet Magnolia, Top of the Hill Market, Vault & Vine, Zipf’s Candies, The Stagecrafters Theater, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy and the members of the CHCA Holiday House Tour Committee. A very special thank you to Woodmere Art Museum for hosting registration and Chestnut Hill College for helping to provide parking. We could not have done it without you! Photos by Steve Feistel.
The Holiday season is a time to relive cherished traditions, and for Chestnut Hill, there is no better tradition than spending a day enjoying the 25th Annual Christmas Holiday House Tour! Our annual tour featured five of the area's loveliest historic homes decorated inside and out for the holidays. Attendees had the option of riding our event trolley from stop to stop or visiting at their own pace in this self-guided tour. This event is a major fundraiser for our association and helps us provide services to our community.
Attendees checked in at Woodmere Art Museum, 9201 Germantown Avenue to pick up your map, wristband, and booties.
