Circle of Trees Celebration

Neighbors head to the Woodmere Art Museum for this annual event to enjoy hot chocolate, music,  and a visit from Santa!

The Circle of Trees Celebration brings the community together at the start of the holiday season. Join your friends and neighbors at Woodmere Art Museum for the annual Circle of Trees Celebration. Festivities start at 5:30 p.m., and you can enjoy hot chocolate, cider and cookies, music, goodie bags for the kids, and a visit from (shhhhh!) Santa too, who arrives on an antique fire truck. Together we count down to the lighting of the Art Museum and Christmas trees. Kids also have a blast climbing on the hay maze on the front lawn under the lights. Show that Chestnut Hill cares – give a toy, share a book, and feel the joy. Come to the event with a new, unwrapped toy or a new or gently used book to donate to a school-aged child. Like most CHCA activities it is free to the public.

How do I volunteer?
Volunteering is a Chestnut Hill tradition. The CHCA has many committees comprised of volunteers planning for our events and addressing a variety of community issues. We always welcome new volunteers! Another way to get involved is to run for a seat on the Board of Directors. Board members serve for 3-year terms and meet on the fourth Thursday of every month except December. You don’t need to be a member to join most of our committees. To volunteer, call 215-248-8810 or email

To discuss or secure any level of sponsorship contact Anne McNiff, CHCA Executive Director 215-248-8811,
