CHCA Virtual Events care for, create, and celebrate community
In 2020, the CHCA continued our commitment to Care For, Create, and Celebrate Community. Our "Happy Hour" concert raised funds to help Northwest Philadelphians in need. In summer, we filmed a video showcasing several gorgeous Chestnut Hill Gardens, which you can view on Youtube. In autumn, we brought the community together for our first annual pumpkin carving contest. At the start of winter, we held one of our popular annual events, Circle of Trees Celebration, virtually and all winter holidays were on display in December for our Deck the Door Contest. 24 homes and businesses decorated their doors for the enjoyment of community members, who could stroll or drive by and vote on their favorites.

Saturday, MAY 9, 2020
Grab your favorite beverage and meet your friends and neighbors online!
Mt Airy resident and acclaimed blues singer Deb Callahan and guitarist Allen James will perform a live streamed "Happy Hour" Concert
Saturday, May 9th from 5pm - 6pm.
For more information click here.
All donations made during the concert will be used to help Northwest Philadelphians in need. Many residents in our area are suffering. Public and private agencies are hard at work to provide food and access to medical care to those who have been adversely affected by this pandemic. However, many families have needs that require cash that they do not have at this time. Donations from this "Happy Hour" Concert will be used to purchase $100 gift cards for Northwest Philadelphia residents in need. Local agencies vetted through Senator Art Haywood's office will be utilized to distribute the gift cards.
